First of all, I'd like to thank all the people who have written to us over the last few days. Your messages have meant a lot to me and have made me feel really good. Today, it's been a week since the biopsy and we still have no answer. The wait will continue for a few more days. As you know, patience and waiting are not my strong points. Frustration is part of everyday life right now, and it's probably the biggest psychological challenge for me and my family. I know that many of you are waiting too. Safyatou

The biopsy took place on Wednesday morning, March 11, 2026. The procedure went well and, after a few hours in the clinic, I was able to go home. It was the first general anaesthetic of my life. The surgery went as planned and the follow-up at home is now in place. I'm now in a recovery phase, awaiting the definitive diagnosis. It will take a few more days to get the results. I've been away for several weeks, and you know it's for a medical reason. I don't have the time, and frankly not always the energy, to reply individually to everyone to explain the situation and its evolution.
