First of all, I'd like to thank all the people who have written to us over the last few days. Your messages mean a great deal to me and make me feel really good.

Today, it's been a week since the biopsy and we still have no answer. The wait will continue for a few more days.

As you know, patience and waiting are not my strong points. Frustration is part of everyday life at the moment, and it's probably the most present psychological challenge for me and my family.

I know that many of you are waiting too. Safyatou sees your messages and your questions. For the moment, unfortunately, there's nothing more we can say than wait and see. We'll let you know as soon as we know more.

Some people ask me how I feel physically.

I have no particular pain, but several symptoms are present:

  • a constant fever for three months now, between 38 and 39 degrees, which does not go away and which, according to the doctors, is directly linked to my pathology; ;
  • a high level of exhaustion, which severely limits my activities, even though I've noticed a slight improvement since starting a new treatment a week ago; ;
  • loss of appetite and feeling of satiety, also linked to the disease, leading to weight loss despite continued eating, but in much smaller quantities than before.

So I'm continuing to rest and follow the protocol in place, while I await the next steps.
