Why this blog? Many of you have contacted me - or tried to contact me - to find out why I've disappeared from the friendly and professional radar. I've been away for several weeks, and you know it's for a medical reason. I don't have the time, and frankly not always the energy, to reply individually to everyone to explain the situation and its evolution. Inspired by a very dear friend who has been through a similar care journey to mine, I've chosen this format to give an update to anyone who'll listen. See
