First of all, thank you to those who informed us of the temporary unavailability of the site. Following an incident with our hosting provider, the blog was inaccessible for a few hours, but everything is now back to normal.
I can give you some news about Piero.
After this third chemotherapy, recovery was more difficult. As Piero explained in his previous message, the chemotherapy treatment remains strenuous and demands a lot from the body, even when the treatment follows its normal course.
After a complicated weekend and further tests carried out this morning, doctors have decided to admit Piero to the Daniel Hollard Institute so that they can monitor him closely and manage a phase of immunosuppression that currently makes him very vulnerable to infections.
So today we are returning to the Institute.
At this point, we don't yet know how long this hospitalization will be necessary. Doctors are waiting, in particular, to see how her body responds in the coming days before they can comment further.
Piero will need to continue resting and conserving his energy. As from the beginning, he wishes to continue keeping you informed here on the blog, which remains the easiest and most peaceful way for him to share news when he can.
