Some news.
Recovery from the second chemotherapy is going very well. I'm gradually regaining energy day by day, with no significant side effects.
This week has been a major milestone: I started driving again, went to a restaurant, to the market, and exceeded 3,000 steps for three consecutive days. For comparison, in March, my average was less than 300 steps per day.
Among the many gestures of kindness you continue to show me, and for which we thank you, I received a package from my colleagues this week that particularly touched me. It contained several gifts, each with a meaning, sometimes humorous, sometimes more personal, which genuinely moved me.
I feel ready for my third chemotherapy session, scheduled for Wednesday, under the best possible conditions. However, my independence remains limited, and I know that the next step will bring its share of challenges, just like the previous ones.
So I will continue to focus on my healing journey and the steps ahead. For now, I am intentionally keeping a very calm pace to prepare well for what's next. Thank you all for your understanding and for your presence, through your always valuable messages and comments.

Hello Piero,
Thank you for the good news, it's reassuring.
We're thinking of you for Wednesday.
Denis
Excellent news :-) I'm happy the treatment is working and you've regained your energy. Big kisses to you all.
Thanks for the update (I had IT unblock your blog so everyone can access it from work!).
Glad to see things are «going well» (all things considered, hence the quotation marks). I look forward to reading more news, even better. You're right to take it slow, it's a marathon!
We're thinking of you.
Dear Piero,
I hope the 3rd chemo went well. It warms my heart to see your energy returning. Fingers crossed! And as you say: one step at a time. Slowly, slowly. A big hug xxx
