First symptoms

For nearly two months, my health had been in question.

I had symptoms that might seem trivial, but they didn't go away. On the contrary, they became permanent:

  • fever
  • Loss of appetite
  • a lot of fatigue even for me 😓

Faced with the persistence of these symptoms and increasingly severe episodes of fatigue, we launched research into their origins.

Now things are taking shape and I'm able to communicate with my family, friends and colleagues about my state of health and what we know at this stage of the adventure I'm on.

My enemy

After numerous examinations, samples and consultations, the cause was finally identified: a tumor of the left psoas.

Biopsy

The exact nature of the tumour, and therefore the course of treatment, depends on this examination.

It will help determine whether :

  • a lymphoma
  • or a sarcoma

That's why I'm hospitalized at the Daniel Hollard Institute (IDH) in Grenoble.

Both are diseases rare.
