Why this blog?
Many of you have contacted me - or tried to - to find out why I've disappeared from the friendly and professional radar. I've been away for several weeks, and you know it's for medical reasons.
I don't have the time, and frankly don't always have the energy, to reply to each individual to explain the situation and its evolution.
Inspired by a very dear friend who went through a care journey similar to mine, I've chosen this format to share my news with anyone who'll listen.
Think of this blog as a logbook. Here you will find :
- the reasons for my absence
- the stages of the medical marathon that's about to begin
- and, from time to time, the color of my emotions.
Safyatou will also publish occasional personal posts. She's by my side as always, and is also living this experience in her own way.
Many of you know her and have worried about her. We thank you sincerely for your concern.
What can you expect?
Here you will find :
- explanations of the situation
- when we see fit to share them with you.
- and just news about us.
This newspaper will have no fixed rhythm.
