It was the first general anaesthetic of my life. The surgery went as planned and the follow-up at home is now in place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I'm now in a recovery phase, awaiting the definitive diagnosis. It will take a few more days to get the results. This waiting period is obviously stressful and tiring for all of us.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Safyatou has been reading your messages and comments to me over the last few days. Thank you all for your support. Your words mean a lot to me and give me strength for what lies ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The next step will be diagnosis.
